SkySpecs is solving specific problems in uncharted territory. Our best chance at success comes from our entire team being curious. We need to encourage exploration. Encourage taking action. Ask forgiveness instead of permission. Be data-driven and remove our biases. We need to assume positive intent from our colleagues. We need to be willing to act with imperfect information and shift as we learn more.

SkySpecs is only successful if our entire team embodies generosity. If our customers are successful, then we will be successful. We need to over-communicate, both with our customers and with our team. We need to be responsive and take action when our customers or our colleagues need support. Everyone on the team should feel empowered to go directly to the person or people who can solve a problem. We need to break down silos and work cross-department more efficiently. We can do this by being generous with our time and attention. Simplify meetings. Improve knowledge transfer and document better. Read what’s been documented. Respect people’s time.
